Reading, Writing, Literature in General

Sometimes I feel like Literature is deteriorating. People aren't as interested in books as they used to be, and if they are, they don't have as high standards as they used to. They aren't looking for deep, thoughtful, intricate writings anymore. They're looking for easy fun to read books, that at the most are 200 pages.

I want to contribute something to this world. Something that will reach across the language barriers, into the hearts and minds of millions. Only, the only thing I can really give people, is literature. And people just aren't that into reading anymore. They want to see, feel, hear, everything. Every semi-popular book these days becomes a movie, and people just don't read the book anymore they just watch the movie.

Would that happen to me? If I wrote a book? Would it be forsaken completely, or just made into a movie, with my artistic views completely forgotten, and the reason for the book misinterpreted completely?

Sometimes I feel like I'm better off being virtually unknown. If no one knows my views, no one can destroy or change them right?

No one would see them either though.

  1. From the sounds of it's early stage of planning, it's going to break the sound barrier....and I should probably get a hat as well because it's going to blow my mind.

Oh but letting the world see your views are the best part, it gives us a chance to let the world know what goes on in that vast sea of imagination we call our minds. I'm absolutely buzzed to see what goes on in yours

That and Frank Sinatra is playing in the background so that's a buzz as well.
